Just before heading back into La Paz we anchored in Bahia Pichilingue, north of the commercial harbor, for a final night at anchor and a nice lunch at the beach palapa. Kind of easing your way back into civilization.
So while having a nice cold cerveza and waiting for the meals to arrive, we talked our winter plans over. Choices were getting our visa stuff and maintenance done ASAP and hightail back out towards Huatulco or stay the winter in La Paz, rent an apartment, unload the boat and re-varnish the interior and especially the floors. While option 1 was the more attractive one, option 2 won, since it needed to be done.
So the decision was made to stay and varnish...... (it took a few more beers to diggest the decision.........)
